In one of the hairdressing cities in Chengdu, China's Sichuan Province, customers are provided with an eye cleaning service in an old and proven way - using a shaving knife. A hairdresser needs no more than five minutes to "clear" the eyes of the client.
It looks very simple: the client sits on a chair, throws back his head, the master opens his hand to his eyes and scrape it with an ordinary sharply sharpened knife. However, one wrong move - and the client will become blind.
The local master says that with this procedure you can also clean out conjunctivitis, throat and mote on the cornea.
Such a service is very cheap: for only 5 yuan (US $ 0.8) the visitor will be shaved, tonsured and "cleaned" his eyes.
