An ingenious father turned the closet of his new home into a reading room for his children, inspired by the room under the Harry Potter stairs. With a lot of imagination and a couple of materials, this dad built the best reading corner. If it's not too much to ask, I want a father like that for my children.

Peter Fragola

Peter Fragola , writer of the blog "Sorry sons: Chronicles of a new dad" , took only two weeks to adapt this space. As soon as he moved in with his family, he knew what the place would be for.

I immediately knew that I would have some pretty big plans to carry out. As the principal of a primary school and former teacher, I know how important it is for children to have their own space to read and do school work. A space where they feel comfortable."

These pictures shows the real transformation. How it looked like before he casted that super dad's magic spell.

Peter started by giving a little color to space: red and gold, by Gryffindor of course. In addition, he painted some of his favorite quotes from the film to inspire his children to " have fun, work hard and stay loyal and honest" . To finish, he upholstered the piece with covers of the newspaper "El Profeta" , giving it a magical touch.

Fragola added a window and painted it with a brick pattern like the "Diagon Alley".
