From Justin Bieber to Matthew McConaughey and Bill Gates, there’s an array of celebrities who have been arrested for various crimes. Apparently, the fact they are in the spotlight doesn’t mean they are exempt from following the law These celebrities have all spent time in jail or prison. Most celebrities on this list were jailed for crimes that were not so serious.
Wahlberg was a drug addict cum dealer. Things came to a head when he was 16 years old and he attacked two Vietnamese men without provocation. He attacked the first with a stick and he punched the second, permanently blinding him in the process.
Baywatch babe Bleeth was arrested in Romulus, Michigan,on September 12, 2001, after her car pulled off the highway and wound up on a median on Interstate 94 as she and her future husband, Paul Cerrito, were heading to Detroit Metropolitan Airport. No other cars were involved. Jane Fonda was arrested in November 1970 for allegedly trying to smuggle a large stash of pills through the Cleveland airport (charges were later dropped). Fonda, arriving from Canada, was detained by U.S. Customs agents after a large stash of diet pills, Valium, and tranquilizers was discovered in her luggage. The actress, then 32, was booked on the narcotics rap at the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office.
In 1992, Tyson was convicted on one count of rape and two counts of deviate sexual conduct against Miss Black America contestant Desiree Washington on July 18, 1991 and sentenced to six years in prison, but was released on parole after serving three years. After his release in 1995, he engaged in a series of comeback fights.

Matthew McConaughey was arrested by Austin, Texas police in October 1999 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a neighbor called to complain about music blaring from the actor's crib. The drug charges against McConaughey were eventually dropped, though the star did plead guilty to violating Austin's noise ordinance, for which he paid a $50 fine.
Actor Tim Allen was arrested in October 1978 while attempting to sell a large amount of cocaine to a Michigan undercover officer. Allen, 25 at the time, served about two years in federal prison following the bust.

Actor Macaulay Culkin, who gained fame as a child in the smash hit film "Home Alone," was charged in Oklahoma City with marijuana possession and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription in 2004.
